There are many reasons why you might want to HIDE an Event. For example, if a judge rules that an event is not allowed into evidence (i.e., the evidence is inadmissible), you will need to quickly remove the event from the timeline.
To HIDE an event completely (not just turn its visibility off, but shut it off so that it can no longer be accessed on the timeline), there are several options:
THREE WAYS TO HIDE EVENTS
1. RIGHT MOUSE CLICK the event, click hide event, and that Event will disappear from the timeline completely. You cannot access it on the timeline.
That Event still exists in the Editor Tab Event List (shaded in red).
or
2. Check the Hide Event in Timeline Option in the Editor Window Event Details Panel
or
3. RIGHT MOUSE CLCK ON an Event in the Event List and choose Hide Event.
SHOW A HIDDEN EVENT
To show an event that has already been hidden, RIGHT MOUSE CLICK on the event, click show event.
