Moving an Event on the TImeLine
SHIFT CLICK and DRAG on the Event Icon allows you to place it wherever you want on the Timeline screen. Being able to move an event helps the Author of the timeline presentation prevent collisions between events close in time to each other. The Leaderline will no longer maintain a straight vertical line to the timeline. You can choose to uncheck Show Leaderline which will remove the Leaderline from the Event
Reset Event Horizontal Position
In order to reset the horizontal position of an event to make the Leaderline vertically straight, RIGHT MOUSE CLICK (or control, click on a Macintosh), the Event Icon and click RESET EVENT HORIZONTAL position. And on each of these, we can reset the event, horizontal position so we can set the events so that they're straight up and down on the timeline.
