"Videotapes are 'on balance, a reliable evidentiary resource.' Commonwealth v. Harvey, 397 Mass. 351 (1986).' When relevant, videotapes have the virtue of presenting an accurate, vivid, and fair representation of the way people acted or spoke or how things looked when the tape was recorded. Appropriate uses of videotapes as evidence includes the videotape record of the booking of the defendant."
